The person behind the pixels
Hi, I’m Lulu.
I’m the designer and pixel artist behind luumly. With a background in photography and narrative design, I’m interested in how a very small image can still hold a feeling, a memory or the beginning of a story.
I create compact cross-stitch patterns using limited colours and simple, repeated stitches. By reducing long thread carries, heavy backstitch and unnecessary complexity, each pattern leaves more room for rhythm: one small cross after another, made during the quiet part of the day.

Full crosses do most of the work. Long thread carries, heavy backstitch and fiddly extras are reduced wherever possible.
A finish you can see
The charts stay compact so that even a short evening session can leave behind visible progress and a sense of completion.
